I am using cubemap "probes" in my game, to provide pre-computed specular reflections and local ambient lighting. When a level is loaded, the probes will render small cubemaps from their positions, which are then processed by ATI's CubeMapGen lib (to generate seamless blurred mip-maps). It works fine, but I want to compress my cubemaps using DXT5, by caching them as DDS files. Do I need to save each cubemap face in a separate DDS file or is there a way to save straight to DDS? I can't find an equivalent of D3DXSaveTextureToFile for cube textures.

Works like a charm, thanks! Now all I need to make NvDXT batch re-compress the DDS files...
