Look at it this way, its like a litmus test.

If your intellectual opponent has a frothy and nonsensical argument, and doesn't use garbage like this to support their claim, you have to weed through enough of the BS to get to a point to notice that everything you've been talking about up to that point, was pure garbage.

If they bring out sources like this, you can just dismiss them as not worth the time to argue with.

Could save you lots of time.

I always wondered why the only self-abuse that's accepted during prayer is starvation and dehydration.

Would I reach accord with apocalypstic's erudite conclusion ("homosexuality is bad") if I, for example, prayed while beating myself over the head with a chair? Or prayed while walking barefoot on hot pavement?

I suppose those barbwire garter belts that the Opus Dei guys enjoy might be the next best thing to malnutrition when you need a prayer companion.

Apocalypstic: I've got a question.

Do you honestly believe people wake up, and choose to be homosexual?

The answer should hopefully be no, leaving you with two options. Either A) Homosexuality is genetic, or B) Homosexuality is chosen by a superior being

In either case, it's against their free will, and they cant do shit about it.

Correct! My point was that praying to yourself inside the box will not give you acurate answers on something outside the box. ;)
