gba cls function

a quick question, just wondering if there are any clear screen functions in gba programming? i'm trying to make a pong clone and have grasped everything that is necessary but still miss a function that is able to clear the screen like SDL_Flip in SDL. I am making this with pixels alone, no sprites or something like that. If I move the paddle, the old pixels remain at the old place obviously, that's what's keeping me from completing the game. Thankful for help.
