I'm trying to debug my program in Visual Studios C++ 2005 EE. However, it fails to load the levelfile, shaders, or any other file. The same thing happens when I run it from VC++, but without debugging (ctrl-f5). All these files load fine for me when I just run the .exe in the folder. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

This is because of the relative paths used. When you run the program standalone, the relative paths are correct, but when you run it for VS they're not. Have a look in the project settings for the projects working directory.

Hope that helps,#

Dave
