I found Mark's tutorial on the internet but its to complicated. Can anyone write up a generic tutorial for a C# rpg game. I mean extremely generic. As in load up one area, 1 monster, and 1 building. Maybe some basic hack and slash. If anyone could help with this that would be great. Thank you.

No. You're asking for something that cannot exist (or if it did exist, would be relatively useless).

The details of "loading up" areas, monsters, and buildings are specific to the needs of the game in question. So is the combat. You won't find any tutorials on the subject because doing it in a generic fashion is going to be too basic to be of use, or too inflexible, et cetera. Anybody who would attempt to write such a thing is probably not qualified to be writing "educational" material in the first place (like most tutorial authors, unfortunately).

You're just going to have to solve the problems on your own, within your own problem domain. That's what software development (and game development) is about; that's what make programming fun.
