When I have my opengl app in windowed mode, everything works fine until i minimize it down onto the task bar, once i bring it back up, everything is locked down. So my 2 questions are... What windows message should I look for to know when the window is 'mimimized' or 'looses focus' or whatever you call it. And what gets 'lost' that needs to be re-loaded when we gain control of the window again? I assume its textures, but im not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks

Try this

case WM_ACTIVATE:
{
if(LOWORD(wParam) == WA_INACTIVE)
bActive = false;
else
{
bActive = true;
if(bAcquired)
InputAcquire();
}
break;
}
