Is there anyway to use the command system("start"); to start a variable? Like this: system("start"<< varaiblename<<"\n"); I have tried that but I get an error. The reason I want to do this is because the variable will be a ping number. It is for a web filter bypass program i am making.

If you want to ping something, you are better off actually using a ping function in your program as opposed to using the external "ping" program. How will your program know if the ping was successful, and how fast the ping was, etc?
