Old ASP question (not .Net) How do I create an effect that when I select an item drop say, a drop-down list - for example a country (UK) and I make it's provinces appear (which will be fetched from a sql server) WHILE retaining all the information entered in that page (this is the part which I can't seem to get right).

Because its ASP, you will be going to the server, then coming back and reloading the page when you do dynamic things when people select a drop down, I would suggest on that submit, store the values, then reload them on page load.

<input type=text name=firstname value=<%=session("firstname")%>>

Don't forget to reset all those sessions variables to null upon completion of that form.

thats one way of doing it.
Jeff.
