Hey guys, Here's the deal - we have an online arena fighting game that uses lua for scripting. I would like to make a level that is a single player game of chess - there is a chess board and you play against the computer. I would like the computer chess player to be implemented in lua so that the chess playing code can be embedded in the map file. Now I don't really want to spend the time to write a chess engine in lua for this level that is basically a joke. I have a chess program that I wrote in C and I was wondering if there is a program out there that will "compile" C to lua code? Even better would be source for a lua chess player, but I have not been able to find one with google. Any thoughts? There are a ton of open source chess programs out there, written in just about every language, so any X-to-lua crosscompiler would probably do the trick.
