Hi, I was just wondering what difference there is between getting a Computer Science degree and a Game Development degree (like what DigiPen and DeVry have to offer). Which one would be better to get if I were to want a job in game programming? Would a 4 year degree make me much more qualified to obtain a job than a 2 year? Or are they about the same? What about online game development courses, are they just a waste of time? Thanks.

I'd browse the forums for this subject as this topic has been covered many many times. If you still aren't satisfied after that check out Tom Sloper's page, he's got all kinds of good info on there including his advice on this topic.
