Fun is about play, and play is ablut learning. So Fun is learning (in fact it is very difficult to learn something if you are not having fun while doing it).

When the scientific half works at the same level as the creative half? I think one can have fun while using either half exclusively. Painting while stoned, for example. [totally]
A dictionary book's definition can't read "well, personally, I think..". [smile]
I've had fun while making choices regardless of reaching the conclusion.
Those of us who don't believe life is hell can still have fun.

Push a ball?
Punch a bag?
Jump on a trampoline?
Run around for a home run?
Make fun of your sister?
Stomp your gas pedal to the floor?
Punch your boss?
Regardless, fun cannot be equal to learning because learning is not always fun. The same is true for any non-abstract process, such as experiencing, observing, and interacting.
I'm just messing around, though. I don't think it's possible to define fun.

Yes I do understand you are also trying to be funny (same here), but in all seriousness, a lot of what we conssider "Fun" is all aobut learning. There are also other factors, and not all learning is about "Academic Learning" which can make the distinction a little unclear, but from what I have read on the psychology of fun and play, it is mainly about learning (if not all about learning).
