[.net] Starting out with Webservices, suggestions for books/references?

I'm thinking about experimenting with C# Webservices, so I'm looking for a bit of reference material, and perhaps some books. So, any good books/references on this subject, that don't wanna go around teaching me C# or treat me like a total moron?

There is a book on .Net Remoting that is very good in my opinion.
I think it is called
"Advanced .Net Remoting"
