calculate log

Ermm... On your dual-display calculator:

log2, (, 9, /, 4, ), =

(log2 may also be called lg). Or if you don't have a base-2 logarithm, you can use the identity:

log_a(x) = log_b(x) / log_b(a)

So on Windows Calc, for example:

9, /, 4, =, log, /, 2, log, =

In C++, you can use the same identity:

float result = log(9 / 4) / log(2);

where the log() function is defined in math.h.
