Ya i believe

floor();

rounds down
and

ciel()

round up..i think ,i remember programming in something else and this was the case and i believe its also in c++

It is not possible to round down an integer number.
And even if you meant it the other way around, converting float to int, you don't need to round down anything, the typecast will cut off the decimal part which equals rounding down.
