a simple question

hello, If a program using any DirectDraw function, is there a possibility that the program being run in a windows operation system, like windowsXP, that has no DirectX being installed? Thanks alot.

Nope :) Though the latest version it would most likely ever need would be DX7, which most computers have these days anyway.

Windows XP has DirectX 9 built into it.
