hellO! Im not sure if this is exactly the right forum.. but i guess it does kinda fit here best. So, What I would like to do, is to copy a file, from one place to another. Are there any ways other than reading the data, storing said data in an array or whatever, then writing it in the desired location? Examples accepted :D Cheers

Often, the OS or similar libraries provide you with means of doing this. This ranges from Windows API calls to the C++ boost::filesystem library, and includes system calls to existing utilities (cp, scp, rsync etc). The best way to do it depends on what your OS is, and the circumstances in which you want to copy your file.

well basically this file copying will be happening when the game is run. I am not very experienced at C++. This will be done on the windows platform.

I am hoping i can do this in BlitzPlus, which i beleive can do Windows API wia decls. So if it requires WinAPI then that is ok, maybe a bit of psuedo to help me understand how to call it etc?

Cheers
