Basically I have created an applet. I would like to create a jar file of it. The main function of the applet is located in org\jdesktop\j3d\examples\applet3d\. The class containing the main is named Applet3D.class. When the above folders are not compressed in Jar, I don't have any problems to run the applet. I just have to put the following line in the HTML file : org/jdesktop/j3d/examples/applet3d/Applet3D.class I have put the folders of my applet in a Jar folder "applet3d.jar". Now I do not know how to run the applet... cheers

You need to add the Archive parameter to the APPLET tag if I'm not mistaken.

So something like:

<APPLET archive=applet3d.jar code=applet3d.class width=300 height=300>
