Hi, I'm new to using JOGL. I've downloaded jogl.jar from the JOGL Project site and I've installed the native .dlls. Most of the tutorials I've seen sets up a canvas using the line GLCanvas canvas = GLDrawableFactory.getFactory().createGLCanvas(new GLCapabilities()); However, in javax.media.opengl.GLDrawableFactory, GLDrawableFactory does not seem to have the method createGLCanvas(). As a result, the code cannot compile in my NetBeans IDE. Is there a different way of setting up the canvas? Perhaps this is probably an old way of doing things, since most tutorials I came across are rather dated. Any help would be most appreciated.

With the current version of JOGL you just need to do:

GLCanvas canvas = new GLCanvas();

Cheers,
Brett
