[java] cs1.Keyboard?
I'm looking through some of my computer science assignments, getting them done ahead of time.
I stumbled across an assignment that mentioned getting user input by using cs1.Keyboard's readInt().
Now, is that way of getting input outdated? So far I've used the java.util.Scanner method. Is cs1.Keyboard even used anymore?
Thanks for any help.
I've never heard of cs1.Keyboard until now. From what I can tell from Google, cs1 is a basic utility package for helping hide the implementation details of how to get input from a student studying Computer Science courses, correct?
Use what you are comfortable using, unless you are specifically told that you have to use a certain package to get input. In the wild, the cs1.Keyboard class (if I cam correct about it) would never be used.
