Well, after watching the conclusion movie to the Fullmetal Alchemist series (Conqueror of Shaballa), this idea hit me: Why not try to create a game for the Nintendo DS centered around the world of Fullmetal Alchemist? Why NDS you might ask? -- well, the major reason would be that the touch screen would allow alot of interactivity for things such us: drawing and using transmutation circles, picking up items, using an interactive menu system to access items, solve puzzles, assemble things, etc. Another reason is that this could be one of the few games that put the touch screen to good use. Anyways, on with the game plot: Basically, the game could take place from episode 1 to the end of the final movie. Each episode (some combined probably) could be a level in the game, and have an effectively flowing storyline as portrayed in the series. The player could have the option of having Alphonse as an AI sidekick (using Ed as the default character in the game), or have the option to connect wirelessly and engage in co-op play with another friend. This is just an idea I had...its not going anywhere right now.
