Playing over the internet

Hi guys, I'm making some simple SDL games, but would like to make it possible to play agains other people, but not just in the same computer. So, lets say I have a simple Pong or Tic-tac-toe game, what do I need to make it possible to be played over the internet? Am using SDL and C++ in a windows computer, but I don't have mutch knowledge on networks and servers. Thanks for the help.

you might wish to take a look at SDL_Net or Net2 (an expanded upon layer of SDL_Net) or Rakknet.


SDL_Net or Net2 might be handy because you are already using SDL...

Rakknet is just an excellent lib. However there are many more options, maybe someone else could explain a few options.
