What kind of JPEG library do you use in your x64 applications for Windows? One limitation - it should be free.

If you are using Windows, then by all means use Windows to load them since it can.
.
Are there any issues compiling libjpeg on a x64 platform?
How is it possible to do this in Windows without third party libraries?

No, Yes, you are probably thinking about GIF, but PNG is better anyway.

From my experiance none at all, I used it in GTL with no problems and that has a 64bit compile target.
i am on winxp 64 but hardly ever compile in 64. But Jasper is what I use.
