I decided to finally start coding in Visual Studio 2005 (using Professional edition) and have been having a _very_ annoying issue. Consistently throughout the coding process the IDE will just lock up for a few seconds at a time. At first I thought it might be some wierd issue with the Intellisense updating, even though this was happining in a project with less than 3 files, totalling maybe 500 lines of code. However now I seem to notice it only when it's "saving auto recovery" or something similar (can't remember exactly what it says in the notification bar at the bottom of the client window. Is there a way to turn this feature off or at least to make it not slow down my work flow? I save on my own very frequently so I don't even think I need this auto recovery thing, but then again I don't really know what it's doing, or if that's even the culprit. Any ideas?
