Hi, I am doing some socket programming on Solaris and when I write some code it seems to get stuck at a write request from client to the browser. Is there any way to force a write buffer to flushed on a socket. I tried TCP_NODELAY but it does not seem to work Thanks

You can't really flush (unless you try the fsync() system call).
If you set TCP_NODELAY to 1 correctly, then it should stop the holding back of data, assuming the receiving end is ready to receive (i e, there's an open window available).
