Can xbox 360 games use dlls? Can I use any library written in C# that would work with windows for making pc and xbox 360 games since you can make games for both of them with XNA?

native code DLLs are a definate no-go for hobbyist XNA development for 2 reasons - 1)x86 code will not run on the 360 which uses PowerPC processors. 2)even if the libraries were avaialbe as PPC-native code, Microsoft has chosen to sandbox hobbyists inside the CLI/CLR to prevent said hobbyists from doing anything neffarious or stupid -- ie writing virusses or bricking your 360.

.Net libraries should work, provided that they have no dependancies on the .net framework that are not supported on the 360. This means that to be usable on the 360, the library must function using only the .NET Compact Framework, which is the same framework supported by many embedded and mobile Windows devices.

On the PC side, you can make full use of the standard framework, libraries, and even interface with native x86 code through the usual means.
