ID3DXSprite::Draw Method?
I am now using dirct9c,vc 6.0 .when I compiering some simple codes about ID3DXSprite it always have some errs Because of the ID3DXSprite::Draw Method.
In thoes codes I downloaded the ID3DXSprite::Draw Method just have 5 parameters,
but the ID3DXSprite::Draw Method in My directx sdk have 7 parameters.
HRESULT Draw( LPDIRECT3DTEXTURE9 pSrcTexture,
CONST RECT *pSrcRect,
CONST D3DXVECTOR2 *pScaling,
CONST D3DXVECTOR2 *pRotationCenter,
FLOAT Rotation,
CONST D3DVECTOR2 *pTranslation,
D3DCOLOR Color
);
Is it my sdk too old? which edition is using of those codes I mentioned?
can anybody give me a link to download the latest sdk?
I also want to know what IDE(vc6.0,7.0,or 2005 and so on) is mostly using in today's really game development.
Quote:Original post by repeat4More likely, the code you downloaded uses an out of date SDK. D3DX stuff in particular has changed a fair bit recently. The latest SDK is the August 2006 SDK, which can be downloaded from Here.

I belive most professional developers are probably using VS2003. VC6 is unusable with the latest SDKs, the last SDK that officially supported VC6 was the October 2004 SDK. You should probably be using the latest version of Visual Studio, which is VS2005. The Express version is free to download, and is pretty good (It's optimizing, and has support for pretty much everything you'll need it for). You can download it from Here.
