GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE problem

I'm using GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE by defining it to 0x812F, but I still see the border. It's not black though, it kinda has somewhat the same color as the pixels around it, but I can still see it clearly. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanx
