.X Exporting and 3D MAX

Hi its been a while since i last posted on here in the past my artists have had a lot of problems getting content from max into the .x format to use in my engine i remember there being some known issues that had something to do with a bug in max. i was wondering if there have been any updates on issues being resolved, or if theres any list of things that i can pass on in order to get all of our content working nicely in the engine? ive been using panda exporter by the way thanks alot
