New to LuaPlus

I want to add a scripting feature into something I'm making and I decided LuaPlus would be the best for me. I just have a question about how to add LuaPlus into my program. My question is, each time you need to load a script file and you make a LuaStateOwner object you need to register all the functions that you want to be availiable to the script. Is there any better way to register the functions than just registering them each time for each new LuaStateOwner?
