i got a bitmap loaded on the screen, my question is how would you make the bitmap move like a ball in pong. if somebody could help me i would appreciate it.

Erase it, advance it's coordinates, draw it - repeat.

I know the process... I just need to know how to erase the bitmap from the screen

Clear the back buffer after each frame is drawn.
