I have Visual Studio 2005 (Standard), and I would like to copy a class from a project I downloaded, and paste it into my own project. The downloaded project is loaded with features, and I just need to copy a single class. I tried clicking 'Copy' in the solution explorer in the downloaded project, and 'Paste' in my own project (solution explorer); however, I get the error message: "The source files for this operation cannot be found in this solution". I should note that this class derives from the Panel class, but that's it; there are no classes that this class derives from that are specific to the project. So what's the proper way to copy a class from one project to the other? Manually by creating a new source file? Or do classes in C# carry extra information with them that is not contained in the code?
