I was looking for an allegro tutorial on how to print text with fonts that I make but I can't find any so i was wondering if anybody knew how to do it with a font from a bitmap?

It's ... tricky. [smile] You need to lay out the font in a particular grid, with "magic pink" for letter backgrounds and yellow for the font background. Then you can load it into Grabber as a font and load it into your program using the datafile routines. That's the standard way, anyhow.

Here's an old test I did. Works pretty well. Note the alignment for the font, they all kind of snap to the left of the "grid" and are all the same height. Hope that gets you started.
