I am only 13 and i want to make a start. im waiting for books for Xmas but does anyone have a link to a website that teaches you?

I think it's awesome that you're deciding to take this on. I started my game project some years back when I was about your age, and I know how hard it is.
Right off the bat, I'd recommend getting a free command prompt compiler like GNU C++ (which comes in C++ for Dummies) so you can get mastering the language out of the way and then move onto a more advanced compiler to start using DirectX/OpenGL or whatever it is you want to make your games with.
