webcam to texture

Hi! What's the fastest way to pass the video output of a webcam to the grafic-hardware for use in a shader? The problem is, I'm not really into all this DirectShow concepts. Because that's probably the way to go. I'd really apreciate any sort of explanation. Or is there any chance to access the overlay data directly from the GraficHardware via hlsl? Thanks!

The easiest way would be to use DirectShow and put it onto a texture. You are going to have to combine the the webcam sample and the Texture9 sample to do this, but it shouldn't be so bad.
