Hi I'm trying to try some simple things with D3DXMatrixLookAtLH and D3DXMatrixInverse. I'm using visual studio 2005, sdk (oct 2006) on with windows XP. I included the lib and include thingy under project properties. I'm trying to run the folowing in a empty console project:
#include <d3dx9.h>
#include <math.h>

int main()
{

 D3DXMATRIX view;
 D3DXVECTOR3 pos(4, 6, 2);
 D3DXVECTOR3 at(10.0f, 0.0f, 8.0f);
 D3DXVECTOR3 up(1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f);

 D3DXMatrixLookAtLH(&view, &pos, &at, &up);

 D3DXMatrixInverse(&view, 0, &view);

 return 0;
}
I'm getting the following errors: Error 1 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _D3DXMatrixInverse@12 referenced in function _main test.obj Error 2 error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol _D3DXMatrixLookAtLH@16 referenced in function _main test.obj Can someone help me to solve this, thanks?

Have you linked in d3dx9.lib?

You do it in "Project->Properties->Configuration Properties->Linker->Input->Additional Dependencies"
