Hi everyone, I was reading that I should tesselate my polygons in OpenGL so I can have a better lighting, material and texturing effects and I found and that there's a set of gluTess.... functions, but my question is that should I write my own function to tesselate my polygons or should I use those set of functions. Regards,

Hi dpadam450,
tnx for your reply, but could you explain what do you mean by that?
The redbook will help you. See chap. 2 "Some hints for building polygonal models of surfaces"
