Hello. I'm working on a simple RTS, and I've decided that I want to be able to make it at least 2 player, via networking. Is the following setup relatively simple to do? peer to peer, either is able to send messages at any time. Each client starts the game in exactly the same state. When one person, say, moves a unit from one place to another, I need to send a string or character array something like "M 12 50 50" meaning to move the unit with identification number 12 to the spot on the map (50 50). I'd need to have some sort of buffer for messages, so that each frame, each computer can process several messages. I'm rather clueless when it comes to networking, so could you please give me a bit of direction? UDP, TCP, etc, I'm rather confused. If you know of a good tutorial, that would be great, too. Thank you very much for your help, Adam
