hey all, i'm currently working on a game that deals with open space 3d Camera movement. I do not have to move forward, backward, or strafe left or right, but, I do need to be able to rotate the camera in all 360 degrees. I had originally done this with glRotate, but, that does not allow for me to get coordinates of objects in the space. (I need this cause I need to know if they've been clicked on, etc). So this is what i've done so far: I used this tutorial on how to rotate left and right: which is fine for moving in a 2 dimensional plane. However, I also need to be able to tilt the camera up and down 360 degrees. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can use glulookat() in both the X and Y directions without conflict? Thanks in advance.
