Hi, I am a software graduate. I have done some bits of game developement in Basic when i was a kid and in C during various competitions im my college. I also have programmed a lot in C#. My major project was on c# ? I have not done any 3D developemt as yet and have a huge passion for creating games. How do you suggest i proceed ?

Start with simple games, 2D first, once you get confortable with those, you can move on... but be sure of finishing your games, you can lern a lot of things tuning and making the little details involved in the process of making a game...

Thank you. I will look to develop some 2D games. But what type of 2D games do i create ? And what library do you suggest for a beginer ? DirectX or GLUT ?

Thank you !! I will learn how to develop applications in SDL and then give postings on my progress of space Invador type of game !!!

Hi,
Thanks again. In curiosity to what you have said, i followed some tutorials given that site. I have never heard of the library before (:|) !! But, this library is very elagent and easy to use as compared to DirectX directly. Great stuff !!! :)
