OpenGL whateverYouNeed.h

Hai Friends Iam new to openGl programming, i just compiled the code in the red book #include <whateverYouNeed.h> main() { OpenAWindowPlease(); glClearColor(0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT); glColor3f(1.0, 1.0, 1.0); glOrtho(-1.0, 1.0, -1.0, 1.0, -1.0, 1.0); glBegin(GL_POLYGON); glVertex2f(-0.5, -0.5); glVertex2f(-0.5, 0.5); glVertex2f(0.5, 0.5); glVertex2f(0.5, -0.5); glEnd(); glFlush(); KeepTheWindowOnTheScreenForAWhile(); } in this whateverYouNeed.h headerFile is specified but i searched for that file, but i didnt have any file in that name. I dont know what will be there in that headerfile, can any one say where i can download this header file Thankyou

Arun, it sounds like that is an example from the book which cannot be compiled as-is. The header file 'whateverYouNeed.h' and the functions OpenAWindowPlease() and KeepTheWindowOnTheScreenForAWhile() indicate this.

The rest of the code's functions look to be valid OpenGL calls. I'm guessing that the point of the example is those functions, as opposed to the intialisation pseudo-code.

Perhaps if you read on, you'll come across some more samples which can be compiled directly.
