how can i get the view direction of an entity? i got an origin and a rotation vector. if i rotate it eg 90 degrees around the y axis the vector´s got these values: x:0 y:90 z: 0 how can i calculate the viewdir from this vector and the origin? eg for this the vector must be something like (1,0,0) since it´s pointing now 1 unit on the x axis i´m using this coordination system
y z

What you're looking for is a conversion from Euler angles to Cartesian coordinates. A search on the forum or Google will surely tell you how to do this.
What API are you using? Most maths libraries will have a Yaw-Pitch-Roll -> XYZ function (synonymous with Euler -> Cartesian) so you don't have to work for it.
