Hi! I usually don't like wizards, but if I create an empty project in Visual C++ express using the template "emptyproj" then I cant use the debugger. However, if I use the "win32 console application" template under projekt type "win32" and then specify "empty project" in the wizard then the debugger works fine. My question is this: What's the difference? The wizard don't seem to add any files or code so I'm guessing it has something to do with the preferences? Thanks for any help! /Rayben

You have to create the debug settings for your project. In an empty project it does not create it for you. So you are never creating debug binaries with the debug info so you can't debug.
