I am using Milk Shape 3d and I made my first model that I want to use for Doom3. It's a WW2 tommy gun model and I need to UV map it but I can't find a free UV mapper that will let me save the UVs. :( Thank you.

Blender can do UV unwrapping. http://www.blender3d.org. You should be able to find tutorials (some video tutorials) on it with google and at http://blenderartists.org/forum/

cheers,

Bob

Look for 'LithUnwrap', it's still distributed on some modding sites, I think Serious Same pages might have it. It turned into a bigger $$$ app, but the old free version is still floating around.
