strange direct x debug error

Hello again, i seem to getting a strange debug error trying to run my d3d application in certain fullscreen resolutions, the debug output says Direct3D9: :WM_DISPLAYCHANGE: 800x600x32 Direct3D9: (ERROR) :Lost due to display uniqueness change Anybody have anyidea what is causing this, as i dont want to restrict my apps to certain resolutions, if theres a general reason as too why might get this error i can look around in my code and try to diagnose the problem, googl didnt turn anthing useful S

I've never seen that particular error but did you perhaps call ChangeDisplaySettings while holding on to a D3D Device?

If you didn't do it yourself, it looks like some other app does.

In that case you just need to handle a lost device correctly.
