I am using multimap in my project. I need to implement a multimap with the pair 'TCHAR' and 'long', can somebody help me with a solution.

Are you asking how to declare the template?

std::multimap<TCHAR,long>

But i have a feeling you want to use TCHAR-Arrays as strings. This will not work unless you provide a comparing function. If you don't provide one only the pointers will be compared, not the content.
If you want to basically use TCHAR*-"Strings" i'd recommend to use either std::string or std::wstring depending on your settings and save yourself a huge headache.
