I need to specify specific command-line parameters when I step through my application in visual c++ express. How to you do this? Thanks very much.

I believe that there is a text box in the project properties in which you can input some command line params.

What you could also do is instead of having everything reference 'argv', create your own char** and create it at the start of the main function, and then have everything refernce that (also create your own 'argc' variable). It might be a round about way of doing it, but it should work, and you won't continually have to go into the project properties window whenever you need to change the command line params.

Project -> Properties -> Configuration Properties -> Debugging -> Command Arguments

Is this what you are looking for?
