Anyone know where the "Automatic generation" option for precompiled headers went? All it seem to support is either "Use" or "create"? If i understand that correctly i will have to change that option from use everytime i change something in stdafx.h and do a build with the create setting? And then change it back to use. Correct?

Automatic generation of PCHs was broken - see the Breaking Changes in VC2005 document for details. (It was also actually slower than manual PCH building - c.f. this study which I replicated in VS2003 with similar results.)

Yes, you need to tweak the option when changing your PCH (as far as I am aware). However, if you actually do this often at all, you probably aren't using PCHs properly - the whole point is to precompile stuff that doesn't change and therefore has no need to be recompiled regularly.
