mouse coords to screen coords

hi, waz wondering how to check to see if the mouse cursor was on a certain point on the screen (in 3D), not pixel values, but GLfloat vales. cause i know the mouse uses your basic x,y coordinate system using pixels. and one other thing, getting the to show up is simple (nehe tutorial 23), but what about mouse buttons? thanks, Scott "If you try and don''t succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried."
