deleting a mesh in direct3d

Hello, is there a fonction or a way to delete a mesh created with direct3d in run time? Cause the thing is that, im working on this game, and i want the mesh to be deleted when a collision is detected with the ammo. So how am i suppose to do this? Thx

Well if you call Release() on the various resources then you should get rid of the resources from memory.

Is that what you really want? Or do you just want to hide it so that it can be displayed again later?
