A CVS problem

I'm having a small problem with my svn repository. Pretty much, i have a complex directory structure here on my end, but when i try and commit my changes, i basically get a "folder not found", for any new folder that i add. I can manually add the folder in, but that takes an incredibly long time (slow internet connection + lots of folders + https), is there a way to ask my svn program (tortoiseSVN, for winXP), to recursively add folders on commit? Or else, is there a way to sidestep the issue alltogether? (i'm very new to cvs, this is my first project using it.) ps. i'm using google code hosting as my cvs repository.
Click here to patch the mozilla IDN exploit, or click Here then type in Network.enableidn and set its value to false. Restart the browser for the patches to work.
